If you are a regular patient Lime Tree, at an emergency appointment, we will endeavour to:
- discuss your problem, pain or concern
- examine not only the location of your problem, but also any related teeth and surrounding areas
- take any necessary X-rays, using our digital imaging system.
- diagnose your problem
- try to get you out of pain or treat your problem, as soon as possible.
We have TOOTHACHE APPOINTMENTS available everyday. These are usually between 12.00 &12.30pm, although other times maybe available at short notice. If you contact us early in the morning (phone lines open at 8.15am) we will make every effort to see you the same day. If you contact us later in the day we can usually see you within 24hours. IF YOU ARE NOT A PATIENT AT LIME TREE, WE CAN OFFER TO ADD YOUR NAME TO A WAITING LIST. YOU WILL NEED TO BE SEEN FOR AN EXAMINATION BEFORE WE CAN OFFER YOU AN EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT.
Out of Hours Dental Emergencies
We run our own in-practice emergency service. If you experience trauma to your teeth, severe pain, swelling or have any concerns, please ring the practice for current Out of Hours contact details. Our plan members that have the Dental Accident & Emergency assistance cover, will receive this service FREE OF CHARGE. There is a call out fee (current cost is quoted on the practice answerphone message) for all other patients, but everyone is welcome to use this service. Most of the time this service is run by our dentists at Lime Tree Dental Practice. On occasion, if we are not available alternative arrangements will be made and the instructions will be on the answerphone message. Again call 01275 840234 and listen to the message for up to date information.
